clear the VIEW window and then create a cube with which
the animations will take place. The cube will be called
OBJECT 2 as OBJECT 1 is the floor. You should now click
on the ATTRIBUTES icon and select OBJECT 2. A window will
now appear that shows all of the present attributes for
OBJECT 2. We want to make the object moveable, so click
on the box that says STATIC and MOVEABLE should now appear
(this is one of the biggest reasons for animations to not
work, because they haven't been changed to moveable
objects).
To create an animation, you should go to the AREA
menu at the top of the editor screen. Open the menu and
select CREATE ANIMATION. After you have done this, you
should go to the area menu again and select EDIT
ANIMATION. A screen will now appear that show the present
animations, at the moment it will just show ANIMATION 001,
click on it. A new screen will now appear, this is the
animation controller where you will input the animation
routine.
The first thing that the computer wants to know is
which objects are to be included in the animation,
therefore you must enter
